The RISD Museum is an art museum located at the Rhode Island School of Design. 

It is a museum that is multifaceted. It has a great variety of artworks and subjects on display, ranging from ancient egypt artifacts to modern works of industrial design. It's quirky interior and ever updating galleries seem to reflect the museum's evolving and ever-shifting identity.

Unfortunately I did not believe the current RISD Museum brand identity reflected this multidimensional and ever changing nature of the RISD Museum. Take note of the current logo and website; the brand identity seems much more subdued and austere than the museum actually is.

Therefore, I decided to create a new brand identity and an identity manual for the RISD Museum. I wanted the identity to capture the museums multidimensional, ever changing, and curious nature.
